DRIVE is coming to the app store soon!
It’s a route-knowledge tool for train drivers (which is Australian and British English for a railroad engineer – you know, the people who operate the things, not the civil engineers who build them!)
DRIVE stands for:
- Drivers’
- Route
- Insights,
- Vicinities and
- Environment
and provides a running update on your device screen of your selected route.
Currently DRIVE is in early beta for a private railway ‘somewhere’ in Australia although we will be rolling out versions of the app for the national standard gauge.
